Most 15 year old boys are reading comic books, chasing girls or listening to their favorite rock bands but, Vince “Vinny” Miraanda is spending his days perfecting his talent singing and playing guitar as a Johnny Cash impersonator. Vince has been blowing audiences away with his amazingly deep vocals and stage presence.
All the practice and hard work is paying off it seems because Vince has been making his rounds with guest appearances on Good Morning America, and The Ellen Show performing his rendition of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire”. Before he became known as “Juanny Cash” the Federal Way, Washington teen got his start singing mostly spanish music performing gigs at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. When Vince started to play some Johnny Cash the people seemed to love it, soon after incorporating Johnny Cash songs into his gigs he was discovered, opening doors to more opportunities in the music industry.
Shortly after being discovered Vince’s music was heard by John Carter Cash the son of Johnny Cash himself this lead to the recording of Vince’s very first album. Today he continues to share his music with the world touring the world and recording with many of the music industries elite.
Looks like Vince made the right choice by passing up comic books, girls and video games to chase his dreams and become rock’s, next big star. While Vince loves singing the songs of Johnny Cash he is also working on his own personal sound and has already recorded three songs of his own that he has written with the help of a local musician. This kid is definitely one to look out for in the future.
