Thanks To President Obama This Just Ended And It’s Going To Save MANY Countless Lives.

Obama’s popularity has been constantly improving this month. With the nation’s healthcare on track, unemployment shrinking and the stock market growing steadily day in and day out, life seems just a little bit better.

To make the atmosphere in America even better, the President made an official announcement today that the war in Afghanistan officially came to an end. Now in its 13th year of existence, the war in Afghanistan is the longest war that America has ever been involved in. At its height, the United States deployed over 140,000 to the country, 2,200 of which paid the ultimate price.

Currently, the United States has only 13,500 troops stationed in Afghanistan for security, logistical and training reasons. Speaking from Hawaii during his annual winter vacation with family and friends, President Obama stated that their fight against global terrorism will continue in the defense of the freedoms and values we hold as a country.

A large portion of American citizens feel that the announcement of the war ending in Afghanistan combined with the release of CIA terror report occurring only a few weeks ago, the United States as a nation can close the book on Bush and Cheney, and look forward to a prosperous future.
