On a conservative radio station interview, Michele Bachmann explains how gays are “bullying ” the American people.
“There’s nothing about gays in there. But the gay community decided to make this their measure,” Bachmann said. “I think the thing that is getting a little tiresome, the gay community, they have so bullied the American people, and they’ve so intimidated politicians. The politicians fear them, so that they think they get to dictate the agenda everywhere.”
This comment was in response to Arizona’s Governor Ann Brewer’s decision to ban the bill that would allow business owners to deny service to gay people on religious grounds. Some of the top Republicans in this country, such as Mitt Romney agree with the bill being vetoed. He tweeted, “@GovBrewer: veto of #SB1062 is right.”
Gay people have endured hate, threatening their civil rights, torment and abuse for years. Now THAT is bullying.
