A man video recorded two middle age women dismantling his family’s foldable canopy which he had erected on a Florida beach. As he approached them with his video camera, they were in the midst of taking down the canopy and having a bit of trouble dismantling it.
The man approaches them and asks them if they own the canopy and need any help taking it apart. They respond back by asking him if he knows how to take it apart. He affirms that he can because the canopy belongs to him.
Their reaction was that of surprise as it appears that they might have legitimately confused his canopy with one belonging to them. Certainly, the women didn’t appear to be people that would be purloining goods. For his part, the owner was inclined to let the matter quietly go away. One of the women was acting quite confused as if the canopy really was hers, but the other began to take offense at him video recording the incident. She curtly asked him to cease recording, but did so in offensive terms. At that point, he asks her to step away from his belonging and did so in equally offensive terms.
It was then that she threatens to take his camera and stick it in the grass. As she threatens him, she walks up to his face pointing her index finger at him. Not content to let things be, she begins taking swipes at him in an attempt to get him to stop recording the alleged theft.
