A 16-year-old teenager named Ashley and her dog, Pudsey set out to wow audiences at Britain’s Got Talent almost in the same vain as the legendary Mr. Bojangles and his dog did generations ago. The two share a bond that most dog lovers can only dream of having. The beautiful young woman got the dog from her mother on her 11th birthday as a puppy in a gift box and from that time onward they’ve done everything together.
Per se, there’s nothing special about the shaggy haired Pudsey as he’s a cross-breed of three types of dogs. However, she’s hoping to make Pudsey become the next Lassie. The teen and her pooch took the stage with the panel of judges watching with the very hard to please Simon Cowell watching.
The performance began against a modern version of the theme song to the 1960s sitcom cartoon “The Flintstones”. At one point, Ashley walks about on her knees with Pudsey walking on his hind legs directly behind her while resting his paws on her back. At another point, she walks about on all fours as he crisscrosses between her arms in a figure eight pattern.
As walks backwards on her knees, he walks up against her front again on his hind legs while resting his paws on her chest. She later trots while he walks behind her scratching her bum gently. The two then trotted side by side in a well-choreographed move. The grand finale has him leaping into her arms while Cowell and the audience give Ashley & Pudsey a standing ovation.
