No one likes noises in the middle of the night, whether they might keep you up or creep you out, they’re more often than not a nuisance.
So when one man heard them coming from his backyard in California, he was likely expecting the worst, but what he found was far from it!
A small family of gray foxes decided to move into this man’s backyard, and they behave just like little kids! (Or kits, in this case) rolling around, teasing and tackling one another, hopping up on the bird bath, climbing trees, and even one brave little explorer noticed the patio door and came up to investigate.
Four young gray foxes playing all night in your backyard is definately one of the better reasons to be disturbed in the middle of the night by a noise, and this certainly proves that without a question! It isn’t often that you get unexpected visits from your neighbors in the middle of the night, but of the possibilities, this is likely one of the more pleasant and outright adorable ways for it to happen.
Hopefully this man’s new neighbors will come back to visit again, I’m sure they would be very welcome!
