This security footage taken in the upper west side of Detroit shows how a Moms quick thinking and motherly instinct helped to save both her and her son from certain danger.
This video captures a mother and her 4 year old son returning to their car after purchasing some balloons.
This is when a parents worst nightmare begins to occur and she is ambushed by two armed men. She had just helped her son into the backseat of the car when the first man approaches the driver side, opens the front door, and sits in the front seat.
Meanwhile, she spots a second man approaching the passenger side of the car where her son has already been buckled in.
Just then, her motherly instinct kicks in, and she grabs her child out of the backseat, and runs away from the car and the scene.
She narrowly escapes what could have been a very deadly encounter with the two men. For the safety of her family, this “SuperMom” prefers to keep her identity a secret for now, but states, “I didnt know what to think, the only thing I was thinking was getting him out of the car.”
This moms calm demeanor and clear thinking may have just saved both her, and her sons life.
