VIDEO: Bachmann Embarrasses Herself After Being Dumbfounded with Facts About Benghazi

It’s not uncommon for people to make statements, only to later realize that they make themselves sounds worse in the long run. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has apparently learned this lesson the hard way.

In a recent interview on CNN this past weekend, the Minnesota representative brought up the subject of the Benghazi attack investigations and why it’s so important for the American public to care about. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz also happened to be in the interview in regards to the Benghazi incident.

The embarrassment stems from how respectful and courteous Schultz portrayed herself over the entire course of the interview, while Bachmann seemed to be constantly interrupting Schultz repeatedly, over and over. Schultz started by saying “The Republicans are in the majority of the House of Representatives, so they can essentially do whatever they want. In creating this select committee, they have to, in order to make sure that the process is credible — which, the way they’ve set it up, it’s clearly not going to be and has an outcome that’s been predetermined — they have to treat the minority fairly.”

Bachmann, however, continued to retort by suggesting that what Schultz said was untrue and that the Democrats had been trying to sabotage the investigation process on multiple occasions. Even after this statement was made, Bachmann was seen continuing to interrupt Schultz throughout the interview.

The point is that while Schultz showed great poise and decency, Bachmann resorted to interrupting and showing seemingly childish remarks.
