For avid gum chewers, it is important to read this article and be more careful about disposing of it. Recently, a hummingbird was found stuck in some grass, unable to get away on his own. Why? Because someone dropped a piece of chewing gum in the grass, the hummingbird landed on the chewing gum and unfortunately got stuck! Luckily, a Good Samaritan found the hummingbird and helped free it from the chewy mess.
After carefully lifting the hummingbird off the chewing gum, the hero took some time to remove any excess chewing gum still stuck on the hummingbird. As soon as all the chewing gum was completely removed, the hummingbird flew away as quickly as he could. Who knows what would have happened to the hummingbird had the hero not found him?
He could have been found by another animal or passed away after being unable to free himself to get food or water.
While the hero was freeing the hummingbird a little child watched. So this heroic moment became more than a great blessing for the hummingbird, it became a wonderful example of great parenting and an unforgettable moment for a child to learn a great lesson: be kind to animals and be conscientious of one’s actions.
