Sarah Palin is known for making headlines due to her brash attitude towards President Obama. She is yet again making waves and this time her target is the Washington Post. Palin has stated that she wants to impeach the President. She has never been fond of him and now she has stated via Facebook that the Washington Post writers are “wusses”.
She wants them to write about alleged offenses that Obama has committed that would culminate with impeachment proceedings. She explained that the newspaper had gone after President Nixon decades ago with aggressive tactics and that the same course of action was needed today.
Palin believes that the Washington Post is allowing Obama to get away with things and that they are covering up for him. She wants them to go and investigate deeper alleged deleted communications by the Internal Revenue Service which she likened to the Nixon tape scandal.
Sarah Palin ran as John McCain’s running mate in 2008 and ever since, she has tried to keep herself in the limelight. A columnist for the Washington Post named Sally Quinn has said that Palin needs to take a long retreat from posting about this matter as she continues to try to do whatever she can to tarnish Obama’s reputation as his presidency winds down. Time will tell if the Washington Post heeds Sarah Palin’s advice about their political coverage related to President Obama.
