See What Amazing Thing Pastor Tries To Do But Disgusting City Bans Him From Doing

A pastor from the The Lord’s House of Prayer in Oneonta, Alabama was prevented from feeding the homeless because he didn’t have a permit.

Rick Wood travels around Birmingham with hundreds of hotdogs and bottles of water to give to homeless people, but was stopped by local police because he needed a $500 permit to serve food.

Wood is determined to live out what the Bible dictates in Matthew 25:35-40 which he has written on the side of his truck, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.”

However, a new city ordinance regulates food trucks, stopping Wood from his good deed. The new rules target retail food vendors, not charities, but police say he was still in violation. Wood’s response was, “That makes me so mad. These people are hungry. They’re starving. They need help from people. They can’t afford to buy something from a food truck.”
