See What Absurd Thing Liz Cheney Is Complaining About Obama Now

Liz Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, accused President Obama of lying when he addressed the White House press corps on Friday afternoon. His remarks were given in response to questions concerning a soon to be declassified report from the U.S. Senate on CIA “enhanced interrogation” techniques.

President Obama discussed the Senate report which will bring to light some of what went on in the days immediately following 9/11. The president, taking a conciliatory tack concerning events prior to his presidency, admitted “we tortured some folks” and that “we did some things contrary to our values.”

Waterbording, one of the “enhanced interrogation” techniques approved during the Bush Administration, simulates the feeling of drowning as water is poured into the victim’s nose and mouth. When used against Americans during World War II, the Japanese perpetrators were prosecuted as war criminals.

The Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Conventions specifically ban it. While hosting for Sean Hannity on his Fox News program, Monica Crowley asked for Liz Cheney’s reaction to the President’s remarks.

Cheney called the president “an utter disgrace,” and accused him of slandering the “patriots, heroes, CIA Officers and others who kept us safe after 9/11.” The author of this article, mentions only one complaint against the president. His grievance? Obama has not prosecuted any of the Bush officials for war crimes.
