VIDEO: When I Heard What Glenn Beck Just Admitted I Was Completely Speechless. WOW!

The sight of large swaths of Sunni-controlled Iraq falling into the hands of Al-Qaida supported Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) and the Sharia Law they espouse is troubling.

In fact, it is disheartening given that millions of Americans supported President Bush’s belief that freedom is the universal desire of all people. However, the turmoil in Iraq flies directly in the face of that reasoning. Now, after trillions spent in nation-building exercises in Iraq and thousands of servicemen lost on the battlefield with many more permanently scarred physically and emotionally, Beck has turned on his prior support of the Iraq invasion.

He now claims that the political Left was correct is not wanting to get involved in Iraq. Back in 2002-2003, President George W. Bush was building up support for an Iraqi invasion under the premise that Hussein’s support of Hamas constituted a greater support for international terrorism. The Iraqi dictator was also believed to have weapons of mass destruction specifically nuclear weapons which could fall into the wrong hands or which he could use against Israel.

Now, Beck claims that the Left has been vindicated and that bi-partisan support against further involvement in Iraq is needed to prevent any further US entanglement in that nation.

Beck cited the unexpected support of the Left to deal with Conservatives in opposition to Common Core and the Veteran’s Administration Scandal as examples of both sides working for the good of the country. Personally, Beck would like to see no further US support of Iraq be that financially or militarily. If both sides of the political aisle band together, he believes this can be achieved.
