VIDEO: When CEO Complained $184 Billion Wasn’t A Big Enough Handout, Jon Stewart Did This

After an argument in which Jon Stewart, best known as his role in formerly hosting the popular TV hit The Daily Show made the accusation that the federal government has made it pretty obvious that they aren’t going to pay the nearly $184 billion bailout package owed to his personal company.

He argued against the government, with the snide remark that “his company did a lot better than the average person did, when asking them for a loan from AIG.”

The speech from Steward specifically started as such, according to RawStory Online. While both impersonating a government loan officer and speaking in a sarcastic dim-witty tone, Stewart started out, “Hello, Mr. Greenberg. You’ve asked us for $184.6 billion for 90 percent of your company, which is only worth $15 billion dollars,” after a few more words he ended the statement with, “go f*ck yourself.”

John also made it a clear point to show while the United States has paid out more than over one thousand percent of AIG’s market value at the specific time of the bailout, Greenberg also filed a lawsuit of government extortion, with him being sold as the victim. Keep in mind this happened at the same time. John continues in his rant, continuing, “you’re angry that they wouldn’t lend to you at less than 14%.

Yeah, we hate it too, only we call it a credit card. And we don’t sue over those rates because we cant.” He ended his argument in stating that, “Putting screws in people in their lowest moments is what you do.” Ouch.
