At first, it might shock one’s natural senses to see a bunny taking a bath. After all, they have a reputation for being immaculate groomers without any assistance. That said, a person can’t help but note in the video just how relaxed this bunny named Cloody really seems to be.
Before anyone gets overly alarmed and reaches out to PETA, it should be noted Cloody has taken several baths in its day and seems to have adapted quite well to the process. According to the owner, this particular bunny has trouble grooming certain parts of its body. As a pet, it tends to get dirty in those places and requires a little hygiene help for the benefit of the owner and the bunny.
It should also be noted that the position Cloody finds itself in is used by groomers and veterinarians when rabbits need its nails clipped or some type of medical procedure. It induces a state of relaxation without causing any pain. As noted by some experts, the only real danger comes if the bunny isn’t fully dried, which might lead to hypothermia if exposed to the cold while wet.
While giving everybody the benefit of a doubt, its fun to watch as Cloody springs to his feet when the bath is over and seems happy and refreshed. Perhaps humans could take a lesson from his demeanor. Shouldn’t everyone feel refreshed and relaxed after someone has given them soothing bath? If bunnies wore shoes, everyone should want to be in Cloody’s.
