A cowboy sings his wife’s favorite song, wowing the crowd and the judges on America’s Got Talent. Looks of disinterest and skepticism shown plainly on the faces of many of the members of the studio audience.
The judges were distantly polite as the next contestant took a seat on the stage. It’s apparent they’ve seen many just like the man up on the stage. After the performance, one of the judges even stated that you can’t judge a book by its cover. For Marty Brown, being there wasn’t his idea. His wife had tricked him into going to the show.
The trust and love shared between the two is not only evidenced by the tears which flowed freely down her cheeks as Mrs. Brown stood offstage to watch the performance. The knowledge that it was their habit to sing to each other in the kitchen underscores the happiness they share together. Theirs is a love that warms the hearts of those around them.
Once he began to sing and play his guitar, the doubt on all faces turned to sheer delight. You could hear a pin drop when he first started to sing. Many of the listeners were brought to tears as the music progressed. Each judge gave the performance a resounding yes. They were amazed by his talent and in agreement that he was truly a rare find.
