VIDEO: They Hear Crying Coming From Under The Ice. When I Saw What They Pulled Out, I Cried

In “They Hear Cries Coming From Thin Ice. What They Pull Out? I Can’t Believe It…” Julie Roberts briefly introduces a video showing the rescue of a dog by a fire rescue crew in Poland. The animal had apparently ventured too far out on an icy ledge and slipped into the river.

It struggled to clamber back onto the icy outcropping beside the banks, but could not gain any traction. A bystander standing on a bridge overhead captured the dramatic rescue on camera.

As the large black dog struggles to escape from the river, a fireman carefully positions a ladder over the ice ledge. Then he uses it to move forward and hook the dog’s collar using a long pole. The video maker watches them from overhead, from an old stone bridge spanning the river, while two other bystanders and several firemen view the dramatic rescue scene from the shore.

Very quickly, the fireman manages to pull the dog upwards enough so that the frightened animal can gain better traction against the slick panel of ice. The pet finally manages to exit from the water with the fireman’s assistance. Then, its tail thumping, the cold dog hurries towards the people and a happy reunion with one of the bystander. The heartwarming video attracted favorable comment online from many people.
