Are you appropriately prepared to handle an overload of ‘aww’? Good, because we might have just the sort of cuteness to make you sit back in your chair. This cuteness overload is coming in the form of two assumed enemies: a gang of puppies and the cat that they want to pick on.
Most people would love to be tackled by a crowd of adorable little puppies, but cats aren’t people no matter how hard they try to boss us around. This little cat, which was sleeping peacefully on a ledge, is awoken by a furry crowd of excitable little pups. What should come next? We’d reasonably expect the cat to either bolt off or whip out the claws in order to teach these tiny puppies a lesson. Surprisingly, though, neither occurs!
Instead the gray tabby exhibits the sort of patience reserved only for Monks and wizened older parents. With a stoic face and a slightly wagging tail, whether in amusement or annoyance we cannot tell, the cat accepts the unrequited attention. The puppies climb all over the cat, who simply sits in his place allowing it to happen. With the way the animals interact with each other we can probably pretty safely assume that they are familiar with each other. The cat, at any rate, seems used to having a gang of little pups nipping around his heels.
So for once, it seems, cats and dogs can get along and we’re happy for it, too. Seeing giant cats cuddling with tiny puppies is just about the perfect way to start the day.
