VIDEO: Play-Doh Under Fire for Ruining Christmas For Thousands Due To THIS Toy…

Earlier in 2014, the company faced many complaints from angry parents that their new Cake Mountain Toy bared an uncanny resemblance to a penis or a translucent “dildo.” There’s no doubt about it, the toy does resemble a man’s private sex parts. What is the company doing to address the problem with offended parents? They’re deleting pictures of the product posted by parents on their Facebook page. They also offered any parent offended by the toy’s appearance with an alternative toy.

The “extruder” toy is part of the Hasbro Cake Mountain set and is actually a tool used to decorate play doh cake creations, but has parents up in arms due to its resemblance to a penis. While many parents are offended, a few others find humor in the situation and the shape of the toy.

Is this toy’s resemblance to a man’s genitals the product of imaginative adults with dirty minds or is it really just meant to bare the resemblance of a cake decorating toy? In the end, it is what it is and leaves many parents wondering about the company’s intent.

On Tuesday, the company posted a status on its Facebook page addressing the issue and said that in the future they plan on updating the “extruder” toy for its Cake Mountain Sets with a different tool to correct this problem. The company recommends that parents unhappy with their current set return the item for a full refund or contact the Hasbro customer service department at 1-800-327-8264. The Facebook post received 2,900 comments, had well-over 3,000 likes, and 1,800 shares as of just Tuesday night.
