Police officers are known for helping those in need. They risk their lives every day to save the people who find themselves in trouble. A little boy called police officers in his city because he didn’t have a bed to sleep in, and the response that the officers gave was overwhelming.
The young boy got in a fight with his mother, so he decided to call the people who he knew would come to his home to help. He called the police department.
When the officers arrived at the home, they asked the boy why he was so mad, and the boy told them that there wasn’t anything in his bedroom.
There was nothing in his room. He didn’t have a television, a chair or anywhere to sleep.
The officer who responded to the call made sure that the boy had what he needed. He gave the boy a queen-sized bed as well as some extras that included a game system and television. The officer gave the young boy his cell phone number so that he could call him whenever he needed someone to talk to when he didn’t want to talk to his mother. There is now a friendship between the officer and young boy that will likely last.
