Despite what one may hear on right wing radio stations, it turns out that the Obama economic recovery seems to be doing better than ever. There are many signs that this is the kind of growth not seen since the 1990’s. Even things that were supposed to be “job killing” such as Obamacare have not proven to be so. If anything, more jobs have been created as a result of the laws.
In one year alone the Obama Administration has seen job growth that was greater than the six years of the Bush Administration from 2001-2007. That fact alone should have a lot of people rethinking where they stand on the issues.
It appears that the Obama administration may have gotten a bad rap when they did not in fact deserve one. It turns out surprisingly to some that the Obama Administration has actually seen a decrease in the number of government jobs while the Bush Administration saw an increase in those jobs. Thus, this cannot be used to determine why the Obama Administration seems to be doing so much better on the jobs question.
It is truly remarkable to see just how much progress has come in so short a period of time. Some are starting to wonder if the traditional talking points that are so often given by the two parties may in fact be wrong. It would seem that almost the exact opposite of what one would expect to have happen was happening. It is amazing that we have been fooled for so long.
