Teen Sees A Truck Stranded In A Flood. When He Looks Inside, He Notices THIS And Does The Remarkable

An act of heroism from West Virgina recently has inspired people to recognize that despite all the problems in the modern world, genuine heroes still exist. In “15-Year-Old Boy Saves Grandma’s Life During Flood” Emerald Pellot recounts a dramatic rescue. It occurred on a flooded road in West Virginia. Heavy rains had causes local rock slides, mud slides and impossible driving conditions.

In the midst of this hazardous weather, Emerald reports that Tyler Cline’s grandmother became stranded in her automobile at night. She had been driving, but water rising in the roadway prevented the vehicle from moving forward. She gestured and called for help. Passers-by failed to notice her distress.

Then, as water rose around the stranded car, a 15-year old high school athlete named Brant Freeland reportedly risked his own life by plunging into deep water to rescue Tyler’s grandmother. He helped extricate her from the car and carried her to safety.

Emerald Pellot quoted a Facebook posting in which Tyler Cline offered public thanks to Brant Freeland for saving his elderly grandmother from disaster. Tyler explained that in the past, his grandmother had often assisted other people in need. Then, when she required help, Brant Freeland, a stranger, came forward and rescued her from a grave threat to her safety. The statement of tribute noted that people today should take heart because, despite all the problems in the world in this era, “there are still kind people that will risk their own life, just to save another.”
