Their country boasts of cheap skilled labor and inexpensive basic materials. It’s been suggested that by playing one’s cards right they can spend just $25,000 on building a home, but one man has put this estimate to shame and is inspiring people around the world.
His name is Steve Areen, and he built his own home in Thialand for just $9,000 in 6 short weeks. Starting with only a basic plot of land Steve enlisted the help of his friend to build a basic structure of his house from cement and clay bricks. This was the most expensive part of his project and cost $6,000.
Once the basic design was complete, Steve and his crew got started on the details like paint, interior design, and miscellaneous other features that are simple yet stunning at the same time. While you may scoff at how basic this house seems, for the insanely cheap price tag of it all, the investment is clearly worth the trouble. After all, doesn’t everyone deserve a little slice of paradise?
