Navy SEALs Attach Camera to K-9 Comrade, Captures Incredible Footage

The United States Navy’s Sea, Air, Land Teams, commonly known as the Navy SEALs are one of the nation’s most elite fighting forces. It was SEAL Team Six which took down Osama bin Laden in Operation Neptune Spear back in early May 2011. The team lived up to its name launching a stealth raid from the North Arabian Sea and traversing the length of Pakistan until the elite soldiers landed at Bin Laden’s compound inside the lawless region of Pakistan.

To this day, the details of SEAL operations remain largely classified. That said, the Navy allowed footage taken from a GoPro camera to be released for the public to get a feel for what it is like to fight alongside the SEALs. The camera was attached to a Navy trained K-9 that was every bit as much of a “mean hombre” as the humans on the team.

The German Shepard participated in a training event known as Battle Frog. The dog was able to run down soldiers dressed as terrorists and put the fear of deity in their hearts. Lucky for them the faux terrorists were heavily padded.

This is because the dog was in full attack mode and would have taken a piece of their forearms and thighs. The terrorists were no match for the dog which easily ran them down and brought them to the ground. Watch the video and you’ll certainly get a new impression of what it means for dog to be man’s best friend – at least in regards to the American men.
