Oh the Duggars. They’re as American as apple pie – stars of the cancelled television show “19 Kids and Counting” have become famous, more for than just their questionably large family. In late July, the Duggar family asked fans to send money.
They wanted the donations to fund more videos of the family on their YouTube account. Probably since their 25-million dollar salary was cancelled. This was met with outrage from the fans (see below), thus causing them to hurriedly remove their ill-received request. But they didn’t stop there.
The also asked fans to help fund a mission trip. However, Jill and Derek left it very vague as to where they would be serving on this mission and for how long. It has since been discovered that the two had scampered off to El Salvador on donations made by fans. Usually mission trips keep their volunteers for long periods of time. However, Jill and Derek returned to the United States on three different occasions since their departure.
Fans are wondering what is really happening in El Salvador. No evidence, photographic or otherwise, of the charitable work they are supposedly doing has been seen. Fans are finally starting to open their eyes. The once-loved Duggar family is now in the spotlight for entirely different reasons.
