A Telemarketer Wanted An Old Lady’s Money, What She Does Instead? LOL!

Receiving unwanted calls from anyone can be unpleasant. If those calls are from telemarketers, it can be an even larger pain, especially for individuals that seemingly get those calls on a daily basis. Some of these calls can even turn on us if we agree to hand over private information or even money. People might want to calls to just stop, but others might want a little revenge.

Haven Riney, the originally poster of a chat conversation between him and a telemarketing firm, showed readers the best way to get revenge while having a little fun.

The call starts innocently enough, with the telemarketer explaining that they’re from a research company looking for people to complete a survey. Immediately, he replies that, as a member of a consulting firm, he is always happy to give data to clients when they call and ask for it. After the telemarketer explains that he’ll be entered into a trip, he says that the trip entry isn’t necessary, just the required fee of the service. A fee of over $200 for a five minute survey. The marketer says that he can’t pay that and it was an automated dial in. He then increases the fee to over $700, and patches him through to the supervisor.

After waiting five minutes on the phone, the supervisor answers and asks if there was a problem. He explains the fees, now additional because he had to talk to the supervisor, and asked for over $1000. So, he hangs up.
