WatchObamacare Supporter Give An Ear Full To Distrustful GOPer He’ll Never Forget

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) who has been one of the biggest proponents of repealing Obamacare, got an earful from one of his own constituents last wednesday.

At a town hall in southeast Wisconsin, a voter confronted the congressman. He told Ryan, “ACA subsidies are a good thing,” then criticized the GOP’s attempts to eradicate the health care law.

Michael Martincic, 64, of Oak Creek told Ryan he is a roofer who pays $700 for health coverage through his union. But he explains how he visited Healthcare.gov and found out he qualifies for subsidies and could be paying just $200 for health insurance. “It was so easy to get on the site; the whole thing only took 15 minutes.”

Martincic told Ryan about other people he knows who will also benefit from Obamacare, one of which has leukemia whose out of pocket expenses will be cut in half under the new law. The crowd applauded, but Ryan stuck to his guns and defended the GOP.
