Belinda Smith graduated high school in 1991. That was a bad year for her, as her own mother passed away leaving her and her siblings in a desperate financial crisis. Following the loss of her mother and her senior prom, Belinda made a promise to herself that her children, when the time came, would be able to go to their proms no matter what.
