VIDEO: He Helps A Boy Who Couldn’t Pay For His Order, What He Gets Minutes Later? Wow!

Paying it forward can pay off, as a cashier at one Texas restaurant recently learned. The cashier’s seemingly simple act of kindness came back at him three-fold and garnered attention from news media across the nation.

Travis Sattler began his day working at Freddy’s Frozen Custards & Steakburgers in Katy, Texas, like any other. The nearer the time drew for his shift to end, the more anxious Travis became. Shortly before he was due to wind up his day at the diner, a young boy approached the counter. Travis went to take the boy’s order, the total of which came to several dollars. The little customer reached down to count out his money, a few wadded up dollar bills and a lot of change. Unfortunately for the little lad, he was still two dollars short paying for his purchase.

Not wanting to see the little boy disappointed, Travis reached into his pocket and withdrew his credit card, completing the purchase for the boy. The content customer got his order and Travis, pleased to have made the youngster happy, smiled and went about his day.

Approximately thirty minutes later, the boy returned to the counter and handed Travis a note. “Thank you for paying for my custards,” the note read. “We need more people like you.” The youngster, who was this time accompanied by his mother, handed Travis a $100 bill.

Travis, who was beyond grateful, smiled, and told the media that he would put the money, a dollar amount that was matched by Freddy’s, aside to help pay for his vocational education and training.
