The process is something rather easy to do as long as you are careful in how you handle the items used.
This is an idea that you can try if you find that there are more empty cans in your home than you know what to do with. All you need is a backyard and fire. You want to wear gloves while completing the project. Place five charcoal briquettes at the bottom of a canister.
You also need a pipe that goes into the canister. Use a hair dryer to blow hot air through the tube. This will speed up the heating process. Fill the canister the rest of the way with charcoal after you place a small container in the canister.
When the fire is hot enough, you can start placing empty cans in the small container. The foundry, as the system is called, will start to melt the cans. When the cans melt, they will liquefy so that you can pour the metal out into a safe container so that the metal will cool.
