VIDEO: He Puts The Apple Between Two Dull Knives. When I See What He Does, I’m Shocked!

Looking for something to perk up dinner time? Try food art. An apple with a few strategic slices can become a swan. Take a knife and cut apple about 10 degrees off center from stem through the core. Retrieve two seeds.

Take half of the apple that has bottom attached and place between two butter knives. The butter knives will function as spacers. Cut “L” shaped wedges by slicing apple half down the center till you hit the butter knives.

Then go to the side of the apple and slice to center. This makes a wedge. Repeat process on new wedge. Do two more times for a series of wedges. Put pieces back together into original wedge then slide each wedge piece one forth to one half inches in same direction individually to form a wing. Repeat with other original wedge. Put two wing sections together.

Where they meet on the stem side cut a groove. Get other apple half. Place with cut side down between the spacers. Slice three times across. Find the piece that looks like a heart slightly flattened on top. From the top make an angle cut to almost the middle.

Move down a bit and do a horizontal cut almost to middle and then go near bottom and slice all the way across. A swan head has formed. Finish by rounding off edges, place the two seeds for eyes, and insert into groove. Enjoy the apple swan.
