An anti-gay minister from Southern Indiana is in trouble after being accused of soliciting gay sex at a park. Charges of battery were brought against Gaylard Williams from the Praise Cathedral Church of God after a man alleged that the pastor grabbed his genitals while he was sitting in his car.
According to the man, he was in his car on December 12 when Williams approached him, asked him to roll down his window, then grabbed his genitals and made an offer to perform oral sex. The man than told the pastor in no uncertain terms that he wasn’t interested in his advances.
This has caused Williams to flee, but the man took down his license plate number and reported the incident to the police. When officers later came into contact with Williams, they found several pieces of gay pornographic material in his vehicle.
The allegations that Williams had solicited a stranger for gay sex in such a manner, plus the gay adult materials found in his car will probably come as a big surprise to members of his congregation, as his church is well known for its opposition to homosexuality, teaching members that same-sex marriage is a sin and that they should avoid fulfilling their lustful desires by glorifying God.
