Walt Disney World has an interactive Star Wars stage show at its Hollywood Studios theme park, allowing boys and girls to contend with Darth Vader in order to join the ranks of the Jedi Academy.
Part of this show involves one of its actors, playing the role of a Jedi Master, bringing each child into a confrontation of Darth Vader and the child denies Vader’s request to join the Dark Side of the Force.
While just about every child has turned down the offer from the Dark Lord of the Sith and engaged in a mock duel of lightsabers, one little girl seemed to sense just how powerful Vader was and, after being told to activate her lightsaber to battle with him by the Jedi Master, she told the Master that she would join the Dark Side.
Although the actor was genuinely surprised, he rolled with it, even as the child knelt before her Sith master.
After being further surprised by such actions, and confirming that she truly wanted to join the Sith, the actor playing the Jedi Master walked her off the stage, remarking “Let me show you where the Sith Academy is” and bringing another child forward to do battle with the Dark Lord of the Sith.
