This Latest Racist Attack By Police On Innocent Teen Will Make You Rethink Racism In America

How would you react if your son was viciously assaulted in his own home, not by burglars or thugs, but by the police? Given that the boys in blue are supposed to be the one’s protecting you as well as your children, you would likely reacted with outrage.

This is just what happened in a sad and wholly unexpected occurrence in the North Carolina household of a one DeShawn Currie when he was pepper sprayed by police officers in his own foster home.

The surreal and nightmarish event at the behest of the young man’s neighbors whom mistook him for a thief and called the police. His foster mother, Stacey Tyler was beside herself when she heard of the affair and later explained the situation. The reason that the neighbors had called the police was that Tyler had left her door unlocked because she knew DeShawn would shortly be arrived from school and would be locked outside otherwise.

When they seen DeShawn, a young black man, entering the home they called the cops. When the police arrived they told Currie to put his hands above his head, to which he replied, “For What?”

He then went on to explain that this was his home. They did not believe him and pointed to the various pictures scattered about the household of Tyler’s children by birth, none of whom were black. This was apparently more than young DeShawn could stand.

He became angry and a brief argument followed, before it could be concluded, the officers pepper sprayed the young man directly in the face. There was some justice, however, for after the affair was explained, no charges were filed against DeShawn, not that they would have done much had they been filed.
