If you saw a child who was in need of a jacket, would you give that child your jacket?
Most people would answer this question by saying yes. There are children living in Syria who have no jackets for the coldest time of the year. An effort is now in place to raise money for these children so that they can stay warm. A video was created so that people across the world could see just how needy these children really are.
Although the video is in a different language, the pictures show the dire need.
The video begins with a little boy sitting on a bench at a bus stop while it’s snowing. A man approaches the bench, looking like he is going to say something to the boy. While the boy is shivering in the cold, a woman sits down beside him. She is on her phone, but she soon puts her phone in her pocket and starts talking to the boy.
Numerous people pass through the bus stop area, none who are willing to give the boy their coat. One man sees the child and gives him the coat he has on, making the little boy smile for the first time. This is what’s happening in Syria. Children are sitting in the cold without coats, and they need the help of others.
