VIDEO: When Fox News Made Fun Of Domestic Violence, They Got The Spanking Of A Lifetime By CNN

Atlanta, Georgia – CNN host Carol Costello is a victim of domestic violence. As such, she is particularly sensitive to the subject matter at least when it comes to how the Right-leaning Fox News Network co-anchors of the daytime show “Fox & Friends” covered video of Ray Rice assaulting his girlfriend.

Costello was incensed with what may have been a false sense of morality when she took issue with Brian Kilmeade joking that the lesson learned for Janay Palmer is that she ought to take the stairs over riding in the elevator with Ray Rice. Steve Doocy then joked that the Ray Rice’s of the world need to be mindful of cameras.

The following day, Kilmeade affirmed that he and his co-hosts take the subject matter of domestic violence seriously. Costello would have nothing of it and said she wanted to scream in anger at the Fox News crew when she heard their report. In fact, she said it made her want to hurl. She feels that she is able to speak on behalf of all abused women in denouncing the Fox News hosts.

However, Costello has never felt any such sense of outrage over Bill Clinton’s sexual assault allegations nor his taking advantage of Monica Lewinsky. It seems that if Costello is taken by the politics and charm of the abuser, she is more than willing to look the other way. Yet isn’t that the very thing mindset the NFL is being criticized over? Why wasn’t Costello speaking for the victims of abuse during the Clinton scandals?
