Elias seemed just like any other hyperactive 7-year old boy when he recently visited with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Outfitted in a sequined fedora hat, bow tie, white shirt and black vest and slacks, Elias jumped up and down and frequently hugged Ellen while the audience roared its approval.
Elias managed to win Ellen’s heart by giving her numerous compliments, telling her she is a beautiful lady with really soft hair. Then he noticed the Ellen coffee mug sitting on the table and mentioned that his mother wanted to give a similar mug to his music teacher.
Ellen teased him that the mugs were available for sale at the studio’s gift store, while Elias made a funny face. But everyone quieted down when the energetic Elias danced his way over to the Yamaha piano awaiting him in the center of the stage.
Once Elias began twinkling the ivory keys, not a sound could be heard from the audience, obviously enraptured by this young musical prodigy’s amazing skills as a classical piano player. His fingers fairly flew over the keys as he played a very complicated piece of music.
Once he was finished, he leapt up into the air to run over to give his host another bear hug while the audience rose to its feet with a round of thunderous applause in appreciation for the boy’s providing them with some spectacular entertainment.
