VIDEO: He Was Going To Kill This Deer, But Then Something Amazing Happened. WOW!

Deer are normally very tranquil creatures, but as one man would come to find out they can put up quite a fight. Lynn Chestnut and his wife encountered one while out one day in Toledo, Washington. Chestnut was out to film a video for a few of his buddies when the attack took place.

He had originally doused himself in doe urine to attract the potential buck. Chestnut had his wife filming the entire time. In response to the hunters attempt to draw out a deer, the attack started when the buck approached Mr. Chestnut from the woods with its head lowered. The deer let out an aggressive grunt, with hair standing on end, and body in a crouched position it proceeded to charge multiple times.

Adult male deer are about six foot in length and weigh in at about two hundred pounds. That would make a buck increasingly difficult to get away from. While eventually Lynn was able to conquer his attacker, attacks in general are now becoming more common. While bucks are more aggressive during the rut season in fall, doe’s can also be aggressive during the spring while fawning.

As the number of deer increases, the number of humans entering into nature increases, and as we continue to build into wild areas the chances for encountering deer has risen. More and more people are also failing to realize just how wild these animals actually are; mistaking them for the cute, friendly animals portrayed in movies.
