While a group of boaters were whale watching, they noticed that there were several whales in the area, more than usual. The killer whales were circling around the boat. As the group watched the animals circling, they noticed another animal in the water.
This animal was coming toward the boat, looking as if it was panicked. Some caught a glimpse of the animal and noticed that it was a penguin. The penguin jumped out of the water and into the boat with the group of people. It made it to safety, away from the whales that were trying to capture the defenseless animal.
The boaters were in an area with snow and ice, so it wasn’t unusual to see penguins in their natural habitat.
They seem to be chasing fish and other animals while the boaters look on, getting amazing pictures of the large animals that rule the ocean along with sharks. The small penguin swims quickly to the boat, diving in and out of the water. It could be that the animal was trying to remain unseen to the whales until it reached the safety of the boat. Once on board, the penguin walked around and then stood on the side, looking at the whales that it escaped from.
