‘I no longer have to be politically correct’: GOP Politician Grabs a Woman’s Genitals

A Republican representative for the town of Greenwich, Connecticut has been arrested recently for sexually assaulting a fellow co-worker. Christopher von Keyserling, who is 71-years-old, is accused of pinching the genitals of a 57-year-old town employee.

The incident occurred in mid-December where the two were engaged in a conversation that soon became heated. During the conversation Keyserling allegedly told the woman that in this new world he no longer has to worry about being “politically correct”, echoing President-elect Trump’s campaign on bashing the political correctness of the Obama administration.

After a few more heated exchanges, the woman decided it was best to end the conversation by walking away from Keyserling. He followed her to her office, claiming that he wanted to speak to another co-worker who was in there. When the co-worker left the room, the woman followed as to not be left with just Keyserling in the room.

On the way out of the office he, according to the arrest warrant, “reached between her legs from behind and pinched her in the groin area.” He then told the woman that it would be her word against his if she told anyone.

Keyserling’s attorney, Phil Russell, said of the incident, “There was a playful gesture, in front of witnesses. It was too trivial to be considered anything of significance. To call it a sexual assault is not based in reality”. The police in Greenwich disagree and have charged the GOP politician with fourth-degree sexual assault. He is due to appear in court for those charges on the 25th of January.
