President-elect Trump recently made a move that has a lot of people scared. According to a recent report, the Trump transition team has fired the head of the National Nuclear Security Administration.
They also fired the Deputy Chief of the NNSA. This is the organization that is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the security of the United States nuclear weapons. The report also stated that there may not be another person over the National Nuclear Security Administration until the summer time.
It is estimated that Trump will be hiring over 4,000 people to work in the executive branch. The people who currently work for the executive branch will resign on January 20. This will be the first time in the history of the United States that there has not been someone over the National Nuclear Security Administration. President Obama kept the same people that George W. Bush appointed over the NNSA until his second term.
President-elect Trump has not yet appointed anyone to replace the previous NNSA leaders. A person who writes for Gizmodo stated that he is concerned about the state of the country. He believes that the country is in grave danger. Many people abroad are also afraid for the future.
