Family is FLOORED When Chik-fil-A Cashier Starts Signing With Them When They Order

Cynthia Walker, a woman in her ’20s, had an experience at her local Chik-Fil-A that left her surprised and uplifted. Cynthia, who was at the restaurant with her mother Terri, has CHARGE syndrome which has left her deaf, with vision problems, heart defects, as well as other health problems.

Normally when the two go out to eat, Terri will have to order for her daughter. At their most recent visit to Chik-fil-A, that is what the two were expecting to happen, however they were stunned when their cashier Taylor began to sign to Cynthia.

Taylor knew sign language and handled Cynthia’s order as she would anyone else’s. Terri recorded the whole event as it happened. This may not seem like a major experience for anyone else, but this is the first time that Cynthia was able to order anything for herself.

The mother and daughter were both overjoyed with the experience. When the pair got home, Terri uploaded the video to Facebook and made a few comments on it. She commended Chik-fil-A for hiring Taylor, saying that although she has only been employed there for a few weeks, she is a quality employee. The video that Terri posted ended up going viral.

The mother and daughter plan on visiting that Chik-fil-A location more often, thanks to Taylor’s ace customer service skills. Cynthia enjoyed being able to dine out without feeling as though employees of the restaurant were scrutinizing her. Good job, Taylor!
