See Why Everyone Agrees This Police Commissioner Should Be Fired After What He Just Called Obama

Wolfeboro, New Hampshire – Robert Copeland, the local police commissioner, refuses to apologize for referring to President Obama by the pejorative which rhymes with the word trigger. The incident occurred when the 82-year-old law enforcement official was at a restaurant and spoke of the sitting president. A complaint was filed by a resident who overheard the elderly man speak disparagingly of Obama. He has not denied calling the president by the offensive term. He believes that the president has met the requirements to be called by the term.

Interestingly enough, Robert Copeland hasn’t offered an explanation of what the criteria is for a person to be labeled by the N-word. The community of 3,000 people he resides in is largely white with only 20 residents who are black. Other commissioners have convened to discuss the situation.

Naturally, there are calls for the Copeland to step down or be forced out of office. For his part, Copeland has offered a defense saying he has a history of working with African-Americans and the woman taking offense at this slur of Obama is making the incident to be more problematic than it deserves.

The woman at the center of the problem only recently moved into the town. She had no idea the elderly man speaking so offensively of Obama was a prominent member of society. However, she asked around and when she learned that he was the police commissioner, she decided to file a formal complaint. It is not clear who much support Copeland has with the other commissioners.
