This zoo keeper must truly be a leopard whisperer because he got this full-size man eating leopard channeling its inner kitty.
In the video, the man sticks his hand inside the cage where the leopard is lying on its side with its back against the cage. The cat seems somewhat bent on napping at which time the man scratches it under its jaw. His hand moves downward to scratch its neck as the leopard responds pleasantly.
The feline then moves its head away from the side of the cage as the man takes to scratching the top of its head.
Anyone who’s ever owned a cat knows they enjoy having the fur just above their ears gently stroked. This big cat is no different and even places its left paw on the man’s hand gently tapping it as he continues scratching its head. No claws are drawn out. The cat even had its eyes slanted shut the way kitties do when they are thoroughly enjoying being loved up on. By this time the cat rolls onto its tummy and the man quickly retracts his hand. However, the cat still displays no enmity.
Rather, it moves its head against the cage so that he can press his mouth against it and kiss it. Again, this is the sort of thing cat lovers do with their 15 to 20 pound cats. This cat must way upwards of 200 pounds. Needless to say, this man enjoys a very special relationship with the leopard. Watch the video and enjoy it, but do not try it yourself.
