Even though the latest commercial from Subaru was released just a few days ago, it’s already generating a lot of buzz as being one of the cutest commercials this century has ever seen. I have personally seen the commercial myself and I firmly believe that if commercials were more like this, I would actually watch them, instead of fast forwarding through them as I usually do.
What really caught my eye and ultimately lead to me watching the whole commercial was the fact that when the commercial started, it showed a blue Subaru that was being driven by a dog.
About 5 seconds into the commercial we see that it’s actually a family of dogs, that bears some resemblance to a full family, such as a momma dog in the front passenger seat, a daddy dog in the driver’s seat, a female pup and an even younger pup in a car seat in the back of the vehicle. Shortly after, the daddy dog began barking, his family began to bark with him as well.
Later it is revealed that they were barking at a postal agency truck that was about to pass them by in the opposite direction.
What made the commercial so cute and funny was the fact that as soon as the truck passed them, they immediately stopped barking and went back to focusing on utilizing their superior driving skills.
