VIDEO: They Expected A Normal Baby, But When They Saw Their Newborn? I AM Shocked

There are people in this world who rise above terrible rejection and bullying only to become true inspirations. Jono Lancaster is one of them; he was born with Treacher Collins syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder that afflicts one in 50,000 children.

The disorder prevents proper development of the bones in the cheeks and jaws, as well as the skull. It also causes problems in vision, hearing, and breathing. Jono was sadly abandoned by his parents when he was only 36 hours old. He also dealt with a great deal of rejection and bullying in his childhood, and he experienced a great deal of loneliness and anger due to his situation. Additionally, he found out later on that he had two younger siblings who did not know he existed, and when he tried to contact his parents, he was only faced with more rejection.

He travels throughout the world meeting children with the same disorder and helping families deal with it. He also speaks to raise awareness of the disorder and prevent bullying. Many children with the disorder look up to Jono as a hero, which in many ways he is.

Jono believes that God made him for a good reason, and he has learned to be proud of the way he looks and love being himself. Despite everything he has been through, he brings positivity to the world and making it better. He is an inspiration not only to people with the same disorder, but to everyone.
