VIDEO: Robin Williams Describes His Thoughts On Heaven, It Left Chills Down My Spine

With the sudden and tragic passing away of actor Robin Williams at the relatively young age of 63, people the world over are mourning his loss.

He displayed his knack for humor in this interview where he was speaking before a live audience. The host asked him that if heaven indeed exists, what he would like to encounter as he approaches the proverbial “pearly gates”. His response was humorous and poignant. For starters, he said he would like to hear that they would be seating him at the front. He opined that it would be nice if the choir playing music were led by Mozart or even Elvis Presley.

He also said he would like to see that there is humor and laughter there. He even stated that it would be great to hear God the Father open up with a tag line such as “Two Jews want into a bar…”

In his typical fashion, he had the audience laughing merrily at his words despite the fact that he was speaking impromptu.

This was typical of him as the consummate comedian. As details begin to emerge about his tragic death at his own hands, reports are that films from his vast catalog have soared in popularity on Amazon.com. This is significant given that Amazon.com accounts for the lion share of media sold in the United States. It is a testament to the fond memories people have of the roles he played during his career such as the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin, an adult Peter Pan in “Hook”, and the avuncular psychiatrist Dr. Sean Maguire in “Good Will Hunting”.
