In this most recent Israeli conflict with Hamas in their stronghold of Gaza, Israel has successfully shot down hundreds of rockets that the terrorist organization has fired indiscriminately upon citizens in Tel Aviv and other outlying cites & towns.
Hamas has placed their rocket launchers on their mosques, schools, hospitals and other civilian targets in an effort to paint Israel as an aggressor should they take out the rocket launchers which unavoidably harms innocents. With that in mind, Eno believes that support of Israel is no different than supporting the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
He made his bold assertion in an open letter wherein he stated that his denunciation of Israel after viewing a 4-year-old victim of an Israeli bombing attack. Eno, whose children are not being fired upon by Hamas, was outraged that it could have been one of his children who perished during as the result of an Israeli flechette bomb.
However, his children are not at such a risk because he is not choosing to live in a home where Hamas has placed rocket launchers. He does not send his children to attend schools that Hamas has converted into military targets by fixing rocket launchers on the school. Nor is he supporting a government that approves of firing rockets at civilian targets as Hamas is doing. Rather, Eno denunciates the Israeli response while justifying Hamas’ aggression.
He might recall that Israel once agreed to return to their pre-Six Day War borders as part of a peace deal with Yasser Arafat. The PLO terrorist-president rejected the deal and within days launched a new Intifada. Hamas doesn’t want to share the land with Israel. They want to drive the Israelis mercilessly into the sea.
