Worried Father Builds Sick Daughter Awesome, Custom Wheelchair For Only $100!

Evelyn Moore was 4 months old when her parents found out that she had neuroblastoma. During her first years of life, she has had to go through chemotherapy eight times. This has taken a toll on the little girl’s body, and she is now in a wheelchair.

For the past three months, she has been in remission. However, there is a chance that the condition could come back, and her parents want to be prepared. She is also paralyzed from her arms down through the rest of her body because of a tumor on her spine. Brad, Evelyn’s father, was looking at the cost of customized wheelchairs, and after learning about how expensive they are, he decided to make one on his own.

Brad saw a few designs on Pinterest and knew what his daughter would like on the wheelchair and the design that it needed so that his daughter could easily get around the house. With a few materials that only cost $100, Brad made his daughter a wheelchair that she enjoys using.

It also has a Bumbo chair to make sitting during the day a little more comfortable. The new chair gives Evelyn a chance to move around like she desires in the home just like other children who are her age. Check out the video here!
