VIDEO: You will NOT believe what this bride did during her wedding!

Technology and being connected to each other twenty four hours a day, is a daily reality for most people today. We check out phones any chance we can get and if we have a moment of pause and reflection, we are usually on our phones checking the news feed of one of our many social media web sites.

If a person gets a text or instant message, these little messages will stop a phone call, a conversation, and even important life changing event. However, are there any times that you shouldn’t stop and check your phone?

This bride has walked down the aisle and has been handed to her husband to be. They have turned to face the officiant and he begins to speak. As the officiant continues through the importance of marriage, the importance of this communion these two people are about to undertake; the bride begins to fidget. She lifts her beautiful veil and reaches into her cleavage and retrieves her cell phone. Isn’t this one of those moments that answering a text or reading an instant message is a big faux pas?

Isn’t this a sacred moment that should be honored with no cell phones? She begins reading her text, and as her groom stares at what she is doing, she continues to do this for a full 20 seconds as the officiant talks about how God has deemed this marriage ceremony as important. This is a time that the cell phone needs to be put away.
